Biography

Dr. Edwards is currently a Research Scientist with the USGS Utah Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit. His research interests include bioregional conservation planning and the development of methods for assessing and monitoring biological diversity at large landscape scales. These efforts include:

  • A European-based effort of the joint effects of climate and land change on biodiversity in western Europe
  • Climate change effects on conifers of western North America
  • Impacts of urban disturbance fronts in high urban growth and development
